ELECTRIC UNDER FLOOR HEATING

We would recommend some of our engineered flooring products for use with electric under floor heating systems. The flooring needs to be installed as a floating floor over the under floor heating.  

WATER UNDER FLOOR HEATING

We would recommend some of our engineered flooring products and also some of our bespoke parquet floors for use with water under floor heating systems.  The engineered flooring can be installed as a floating floor or glued directly to the sub floor. The bespoke parquet flooring needs to be glued and pinned to a plywood sub floor.

For both systems we would recommend floor probes are installed to ensure the surface floor termperature doesnt exceed 26 degrees C which can cause problems with the wood.

The room humidity should also be controlled between 45-65 % RH to prevent the floor from excessive expansion and contraction.
